Project description

The candidate will jin a QA outsourcing project for our
major client, a global information company with an instantly
recognizable name.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for all QA activities of a set of
    components/products.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining testing
    infrastructure, including test tools and environments.
  • Responsible for QA resources on the project, their
    number, qualification and training.
  • Represents the QA function to senior management, project
    managers, delivery managers, users and business
    sponsors.
  • Communicates with other groups and individuals on behalf
    of QA function.
  • Accountable for the quality of testing performed within
    area of responsibility.
  • Defines QA Strategy for a development group, program of
    work, or range of projects.
  • Creates high-level QA plans for major projects and
    program of work.
  • Ensures compliance with testing and development
    methodology and policies 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer
    Engineering or a related discipline
  • Experience in testing, quality assurance or other
    development experience
  • Experience in project and staff management with strong
    track record of managing teams of technology staff
  • Proven experience of managing large complex development
    projects
  • Experience of working on geographically distributed &
    multi disciplinary project streams
  • High awareness of customer service
  • Substantial experience of building, leading and
    motivating teams.
  • Basic knowledge of financial market
  • Strong leadership and good interpersonal
    skills
  • Energetic and able to work in dynamic
    environments
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English

    abroad.
  • Starting salary dependant on experience from $
    2000
