GENERAL SUMMARY

Works with the ASP to ensure the highst level of customer satisfaction is achieved in all aspects of ASP support delivery, to include installation, repair, modification and preventive maintenance. Operates within a customer install base where the products are maintained by the ASP’s. Promotes the development of strong cooperative relationship with customers, local Sales and ASP’s service managers.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages and coordinates field operations for all Customer Service functions within defined district. This includes meeting defined district goals and objectives.
  • Manages accounts where on-site activity is performed by ASP’s. This action towards customers is mostly remote (Usually no direct meetings with customers). May use ASP’s employees for direct on-site interaction if needed.
  • Is the nominal management escalation point from ASP’s for sites in the territory.
  • Responsible for esuring that actions performed by ASP’s are done according to customer’s expectation. Ensure that the customer is enabled to use EMC tools how and whom to contact at EMC.
  • Negotiate with customers all required matters for planned activities such as Remote connect, FCO’s, to make sure that ASP’s are enabled to perform the corresponding activities.
  • Maintains regular contacts with all customers in the territory, even with those customers that had no recent issue.
  • Assists Sales (internal or resellers) in providing the CS documentation required at time of sales. Provides feedback to sales as required concerning potential customer needs.
  • Performs other duties as required.
