Summary - Responsible for providing regional offices, patners and corporate customers with consulting services regarding Kaspersky Lab products, related security technologies, best practices of defense against various types of malware. Represent HQ expertise and interests in large and important projects during pre-sale stage   Main tasks / Main strategic tasks  

  • Accumulation and analysis of project information provided by regions
  • Critical projects identification and monitoring
  • Develop and maintain technical pre-sale knowledge base

  Market/Product Knowledge and external  interactions (if any)  

  • Study information security market situation and trends and collaborate with marketing and R&D to ensure the company’s decisions, concerning main product portfolio are adequate to the market reality and based on the up-to-date and reliable information.

  Main Internal Contacts & Interactions:  

  • Provide respective services to sales teams globally
  • Contacts with Software Development, Marketing and other related divisions on the following issues:  product and service requirements, implementation experience, sales/partners training and education

  Responsibilities/Operational activities  

  • Analyze projects information provided by regional offices and address problems with necessary expertise to win customers
  • Assure quality of technical pre-sale activity provided by regional offices
  • Identify critical projects and represent actual view to management within HQ
  • Collect information, develop and maintain necessary pre-sale (technical) materials to be used world-wide
  • Collect, maintain and communicate product requirements to marketing and software development teams
  • Analyze the needs, develop and maintain KL products related best practices and methodology.
  • Advise during sales enabling development on product launch
  • Monitor competitive developments and activity to provide regions with necessary expertise during projects and to help other departments in strategy development


  • High Degree in IT or High Degree in another area with strong information security background
  • Not less than 3 years of relevant experience in IT and information security
  • Strong knowledge of and practical (enterprise) experience with Microsoft Windows based infrastructure (Active Directory, ISA, Exchange, …);
  • Certifications are advantageous (MCSE, CISSP);
  • Strong Communication and Presentation Skills;
  • Effective Planning and Implementation Skills,
  • Resilient under Stress and Innovative
  •  English – upper-intermediate
